Born and raised on Poros Island, Captain Sotiris Antonakos developed a passion for the sea from a young age. He began his career as a seaman in 1976, traveling extensively around the world. After three years, he attained the rank of Captain in the merchant navy. Following his service, he continued his career as a captain, navigating both sailboats and motorized tourist vessels. With his deep knowledge of the island's maritime world, Captain Antonakos promises to showcase the best of Poros and teach you the techniques of local fishing.
Also native to Poros Island, Maira Drouga has been immersed in tourism from a young age, which led her to develop a deep passion for the industry. Over the past decade, she has honed her hospitality skills in various sectors and locations worldwide. However, her love for Poros brought her back to the island, where she, alongside Captain Antonakos, will reveal the island's hidden gems known only to the locals.
